Astroteoloģiski prātojumi bioloģiskā universa hipotēzes un ārpuszemes dzīvības meklējumu perspektīvā
Raksts pamatā ir veltīts zinātnieku atziņām par inteliģentas ārpuszemes dzīvības iespējamību, izdarot no šādas hipotēzes tālākus konstruktīvus teoloģiskus secinājumus. Attiecīgi rakstam ir divas galvenās daļas – zinātniski-teorētiskā un konstruktīvi-teoloģiskā, un tas pieder zinātnes un reliģijas dialoga jomai. Dzīvība rakstā definēta mūsdienu bioloģijas izpratnē. In Christian Theology, on the one hand, and Physics, on the other, exist different views about the age of the universe, the age of the earth, and about particularities of other historical events. Obviously, this is a serious obstacle for a harmonious relationship between both. Much more serious, however, is the difference between the respective epistemological climates. The epistemological climate of Theology is ”luminous” because it relies on common sense. On the contrary, the epistemological climate of Physics is ”dark”, insofar it deviates from common sense. The goal of the article is to emphasize the importance of addressing that difference. The text is in Swedish.

The religious attitude of many physicists is atheist or agnostic. In the present article, it is argued that this attitude is favoured by the present shape of the natural science called Physics. The first reason is that the modern concept of nature is alienated from that of creation. The second is that, according to the dominating view, nature is epistemologically silent about itself. Abstract: The first main point is that Physics and Christian Theology are moving in opposite epistemological climates, when they are speaking about the same common object. Here both terms are important: opposite – which is nothing special – and epistemological climate – which is very special. Epistemological questions are considered difficult and normally bypassed. The second main point is that a possible amendment of that situation consists in trying to get a control of the cognitive losses of Physics.
